The National Bank of Egypt (NBE) has contributed a total of EGP 10.7 billion over the past seven for serving corporate social responsibility (CSR).

The funds were granted in line with the sustainable development standards to ensure the best impact on the Egyptian community.

This falls within the framework of the NBE’s recognition of the importance of CSR in order to contribute to serving the society through promoting health and educational services as well as developing slum areas, combating poverty, and propping up female breadwinners and disabled people.

Thanks to the bank’s outstanding efforts during the 2022 fiscal year, the NBE has obtained several awards in the fields of banking retail services, CSR, financial inclusion, and digital services.

Moreover, the bank managed to occupy advanced and pioneering positions at local and African levels in the rankings issued by several international and regional economic and banking institutions, including Asian Banker, Global Finance, The Banker, Bloomberg, EMEA Finance, and BSI.
