“Pass it to another” campaign of Juhayna Food Industries surpassed its target by collecting 12,700 sports footwear to be distributed among youth centers nationwide.
The campaign was launched in collaboration with the Egyptian Clothing Bank and Maker company with an aim to collect 10,000 sneakers.
This was announced during a ceremony organized by the company in tandem with its partners at the end of the campaign.
Passant Fouad, Director of External Communication of Juhayna, attended the ceremony alongside CEO of Egyptian Clothing Bank Manal Saleh and footballer Omar Marmoush.
The ceremony witnessed the participation of a number of football players who donated their shoes, including Wael Riyad and Mohamed Nagi Gedo.
The ceremony also included holding a football match between players of youth centers who obtained sports footwear under the campaign which aimed at supporting youths and sports.
Within this context, Passant Fouad, Director of External Communication of Juhayna, expressed pride of the achievement realized by the campaign which managed in a short time to collect even more than the targeted number of sneakers.
She thanked all participants in the campaign which was part of the company’s sports platform “all will play football”.
She noted that the company seeks to reach talented athletes nationwide.
Meanwhile, Marmoush thanked Juhayna for the campaign which will contribute for supporting a large number of football players, hoping similar campaigns will be held targeting other sports.
For his part, Wael Riyad said Egypt has a large number of youths with several talents, but they do not have needed tools for practicing their favorite sport.
He lauded Juhayna’s campaign which aimed to support thousands of youths and footballers to achieve their dreams, noting that having sports footwear is one of the important factors for player’s success.
During the launch of the campaign, Ahmed Hossam Mido donated the first sneakers.
