Benya Capital – a leading information and communication technology infrastructure company – launched the first innovative platform “Benya Raqmeya” for empowering companies and institutions of all sector to cope with digital transformation.
The digital platform was launched in collaboration with SAP, Microsoft, Honeywell, ATOS, DELL, and CISCO to provide financial and technology support as well as partnerships with Vodafone, Orange, Etisalat, AoI, the Arab Organization for Industrialization, the American University in Cairo, for strategic and capacity building.
Public Enterprise Sector Minister Hisham Tawfiq accentuated that e-market is vital for serving both the private and public sectors.
This would help managing resources of small and emerging companies under mechanized system and, hence, bridge the digital transformation gap.
He noted that the platform’s launch is part of the ministry’s pioneering efforts in the field of digital transformation.
He said the ministry is implementing – through its holding company – the largest digital transformation program in the Middle East.
The program includes 63 companies operating in 12 sectors and more than 20 contracts with local and international companies at dlrs 50 million investments.
He noted that the ministry has spearheaded “Mostaqbal Raqami” or “digital future” initiative to help small and medium sized enterprises get a boon from its experience in digital transformation.
The overture was launched in tandem with the Federation of Egyptian Chambers of Commerce, Microsoft and Fiber Misr Systems, he said, accentuating the ministry’s commitment to cooperate with all institution to establish a comprehensive digital mechanism serving all sector.
Meanwhile. Benya Capital CEO Ahmed Mekki signed a cooperation deal with Chairman of the Federation of Egyptian Industries Mohamed El Sewedy to benefit from the platform for promoting digital transformation in the industrial score.
This will help the industrial sector cope with the international technological revolution.
Mekki said “Benya Raqmeya”represents a comprehensive market offering technological solutions catering for all business demands.
He noted that partnerships with heavy-weight international and local companies will help providing needed technical solutions to Egyptian companies and, hence, boosting their competitiveness.
El Sewedy said “The Federation of Egyptian Industries is one of the country’s largest employers’ associations. It represents over 60,000 industrial enterprises out of which more than 90% belong to the private sector; and accounting for more than 1.2 million workers. In light of the recent COVID-19 pandemic and implemented safety lockdowns,“Benya Raqmeya” is greatly important to support the sector’s digital transformation.
