Culture Ministry organizes cultural, artistic activities in Fayoum village under Decent Life

The Culture Ministry under Inas Abdel Dayem continues its cultural and artistic activities under the presidential initiative Decent Life through the General Organization Of Culture Palaces.

The ministry organizes a cultural campaign in a village in Fayoum until November 30.

Within this context, an awareness symposium was organized under the title of “population growth and its impact on economic development.”

The get-together focused on the dangers of overpopulation and the importance of small and medium sized enterprises as well as the services offered by the Micro Small and Medium Enterprises Development Agency.

The symposium also highlighted that the Decent Life initiative is meant to improve the living conditions of people in the villages to be similar to that of the cities.

The initiative aims to upgrade the infrastructure in the villages and implement several development and service projects, this consequently leads to creating jobs and boosting economy.

Under the cultural campaign, another symposium was also organized to spread awareness about psychological diseases and their impact on the body as well as the causes that lead to psychological diseases.

The symposium also highlighted the erroneous beliefs about psychological illness.

Also, a narrative workshop was also held to spread awareness among children about the role played of individuals in society and their responsibilities and duties.

Another workshop was organized with aragoz – an Egyptian glove puppet character – with an aim to spread awareness about the values of loving others, truth, and avoiding bullying.

An artistic workshop was organized for handicrafts, drawing, recycling and signing.
