Cairo Festival City (CFC) Mall teamed up with Misr El Kheir Foundation to distribute thousands of foodstuff boxes across Egypt’s governorates.
Within the current global economic challenges, Cairo Festival City Mall strives to help the underprivileged communities through its Corporate Social Responsibility (CSR) platform, “Festival Cares”.
This collaboration reflects Cairo Festival City Mall’s commitment to support in eradicating hunger in Egypt, and consistently providing basic necessities as well as underprivileged families. Through its efforts, CFC Mall ensures that boxes are delivered every year during the holy month of Ramadan as part of its food distribution campaign, becoming a Ramadan tradition.
From her side, Heba Abdallah, Head of Marketing at Cairo Festival City Mall, expressed her pride to preserve its collaboration annually with Misr El Kheir Foundation during the holy month of Ramadan.
Abdallah said “Cairo Festival City Mall is always keen on exerting various efforts to give back to the community and assist individuals by improving their quality of life through the distribution of thousands of boxes, managing to touch the lives of over 25,000 citizens.”
Abdallah added that “We are extremely delighted to renew another year of a fruitful partnership with our strategic partner, Misr El Kheir Foundation, helping us reach out to untapped areas all over Egypt’s governorates. Through our commitment as a responsible contributor to the community, we always strive to do our utmost through our social initiatives calendar, seizing opportunities to deliver and assist underprivileged citizens.”
Eng. Amal Mobadda, Fundraising Sector’s Chief Executive Officer and Director at Misr El Kheir Foundation, “Our partnership with Cairo Festival City Mall has been ongoing for several years now, focused on helping the most disadvantaged families in multiple areas.”
“And we are looking forward for bigger collaborations in the upcoming phase,” said Mobadda.
She also highlighted the success of the “Iftar Saaem” campaign, which allowed partners to support deserving families in various governorates through a range of diverse products.
It is worth noting that Cairo Festival City Mall has participated in a number of collaborations that promote social engagement in an effort to raise the standard of living and build a brighter future for Egyptians.
This year, Cairo Festival City Mall managed to renew the partnership with Misr El Kheir Foundation to release debtors during the holy month of Ramadan as part of their yearly Mother’s Day campaign.
In addition to engaging in meaningful partnerships with Egyptian NGOs and values its bond with these organizations. Their latest initiative was fundraising for the Magdy Yacoub Foundation on Valentine’s Day, while in partnership with Dar El Orman, they supported 466 families for the second year running in the “Satr w Dafa” initiative in Aswan, in addition to its efforts with Misr El Kheir Foundation to sponsor a community school to reduce illiteracy and truancy amongst the youth in Fayoum.
