Unilever joined hands with OYO to promote the latter’s “Sanitized Stays” initiative which is meant to ensure high hygiene standards at hotels to be ready for receiving guests under the coronavirus pandemic.
Under this partnership, OYO will use Unilever’s leading home and personal hygiene brands in the cleaning and disinfecting of OYO properties worldwide.
Furthermore, to help OYO create a cleaner and more hygienic stay for all its guests, Unilever will educate OYO’s onground staff on the best practices while using the company’s trusted hygiene and sanitation brands.
Unilever’s R&D team will also work with OYO to co-create Standard Operating Procedures for cleaning to maximize the positive effects of Unilever products.
OYO and Unilever’s partnership will first roll out in India before extending to OYO’s properties in other countries across South East Asia, Europe, the US and South America.
Selected OYO properties will provide Unilever products, including Lifebuoy, Domex (Domestos), Sunlight and Cif brands, to both staff and guests, in order to create a cleaner and more hygienic experience from check-in to check-out.
Alcohol-based hand gel will be made available for guests at all key entrances, exits and high-traffic areas too.
