The January 25 private hospital has taken responsible action to join hands with the state efforts to fight the coronavirus (COVID-19).
The hospital – located in Sharqiya governorate – will be at hand to support the Health Ministry until the COVID crisis ends so that it can be used for quarantine.
It can also conduct check-ups of suspected cases and receive confirmed COVID-19 cases.
Moreover, the hospital will bear the costs of buying needed medicine and medical equipment for treating people during this period.
The hospital will pay for getting all needed cost of a PCR test apparatus and other needed apparatuses due to be needed to contribute to saving Egyptians from this epidemic.
The hospital’s board of trustees added that people will undergo tests for free under the supervision of the Health Ministry.
The 2,400-meter hospital is located in a rural area in Sharqiya where all people in the governorate can easily reach it.
The hospital’s board said the hospital is owned by the Egyptian people who played a pivotal role in establishing this hospital.
The board said it is time for the hospital to pay back for the Egyptian people’s support through stepping up efforts in the face of the coronavirus.
Egypt reported on Monday 40 new coronavirus cases raising the total number of cases to 166, in addition to two new deaths, raising the death toll to four people, according to the ministry of health.
Thirty-five of the new cases were Egyptian nationals, while five where foreigners.
The two deaths were a 72-year-old German man in Luxor, and a 50-year-old Egyptian man from Daqahlia governorate and had come into contact with the Egyptian Lady who died in there on March 12.
The ministry added that the family of the deceased Egyptian man had their blood tested and their coronavirus results came back positive.
