Schneider Electric, a global energy technology leader, has partnered with carbon accounting and management platform Greenly to expand its Decarbonization Champion Program (DCP), providing small and medium-sized enterprise (SME) partners with sustainability tools, expertise and more than $34,000 in annual value to help reduce emissions and improve operational efficiency.<\/p>\n

The expanded program is Schneider Electric\u2019s first sustainability initiative dedicated to SME partners across the electrical value chain. It combines Greenly\u2019s carbon accounting platform with Schneider Electric\u2019s SE Advisory Services to help partners measure, manage and reduce carbon emissions<\/a> while improving operational performance.<\/p>\n

Structured support for decarbonization<\/strong><\/p>\n

The program provides Schneider Electric\u2019s global SME partner network with a structured decarbonization roadmap, including access to the Schneider Electric Sustainability and Energy Tech School to strengthen teams\u2019 sustainability knowledge; the Greenly platform to measure, visualize, track and report Scope 1 and Scope 2 emissions; and SE Advisory Services support through remote audits, strategy workshops and co-created decarbonization roadmaps, alongside access to selected decarbonization technologies and financial incentives. Participating partners will also receive co-branded recognition.<\/p>\n

The program delivers an estimated annual value of more than $34,000 (over \u20ac30,000) for each channel partner.<\/p>\n

Early pilots identify savings opportunities:<\/strong><\/p>\n

Initial deployments in the Pacific region have highlighted the potential financial impact of the program. One contractor identified more than $28,500 (AUD 40,000) in annual savings opportunities, while a Queensland-based manufacturer uncovered more than $178,000 (AUD 250,000) in potential savings through operational improvements including air system efficiency, load shifting and equipment optimization.<\/p>\n

The program is now being rolled out globally across Schneider Electric\u2019s partner ecosystem.<\/p>\n

Rising demand for sustainability data:<\/strong><\/p>\n

The partnership comes as companies across global value chains face growing pressure to demonstrate environmental performance and support customers\u2019 sustainability goals. As large organizations increasingly seek emissions data and sustainability commitments from suppliers, SMEs are being asked to measure, manage and reduce their carbon footprint while improving operational efficiency.<\/p>\n

Regulatory developments, including the European Union\u2019s Corporate Sustainability Reporting Directive (CSRD) and Australia\u2019s Climate-Related Financial Disclosure regime, are also driving demand for greater transparency across value chains.<\/p>\n

For SMEs such as panel builders, contractors and system integrators, the program aims to address gaps in the tools and expertise needed to turn decarbonization goals into practical action.<\/p>\n
